The main goal of the project is sexual education of people with disabilities.
The first meeting of the project partners will take place in Poland on January 27-30.
The project is being funded by Erasmus+ programme and European Social Fund.

July 9, 2020 Employees of the Social Innovation Center of the Public Institution carried out a regular group session of the project “Choose, Achieve, Keep” at the Pakruojis Association of the Disabled, during which they presented not only Lithuanian but also international projects, including: · The Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships Adult Education Project “My Disability is NOT an Obstacle for My Sexuality” launched by the Center for Social Innovation (SIC) in 2019 (2019-1-TR01-KA204-077450) .

#news The Center for Social Innovation participates in the implementation of the Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships adult education project “My Disability is NOT an obstacle for my Sexuality”, contract no. 2019-1-TR01-KA204-077450. On January 28-29, 2020, Rasa Plienienė, coordinator of social programs of the Social Innovation Center, and Oksana Šulcaitė Žilevičienė, a social worker, participated in the first meeting of project partners in Lodz, Poland. During the meeting, the project partners from Germany, Turkey, Italy, Poland and Lithuania presented their organizations and countries' experiences in the field of sex education for the disabled. The challenges of sexual maturation of young people with intellectual and mental disabilities and the problems faced by parents and employees were examined. The next meeting of the project participants will be organized in the Social Innovation Center, Šiauliai :)

On the 2nd of November 2020 partners had a skype meeting of Erasmus + 2019-1-TR01-KA204-077450 project ,,My Disability is NOT obstacle for my Sexuality” . During the meeting partners discussed what has been done, what should be done. Because of Pandemic Restrictions partners agreed on a New Work Plan, Communication methods and New Skype meetings.
