The knowledge and skills gained from formaleducation institutions in childhood becomeobsolete after a certain period and fall short ofcomplying with the life and work conditions andstandards ofthe age and considering the agingpopulation of Europe.The project aims at encouraging people to take amore active role towards engaging with science andtechnology issues that may affect everyday lifeandalso aims to introduce the use of bite size learningas a supplement to formaleducation, a new form ofnonformal education that is totally mobile, flexibleand easy to take up by a very wide variety oflearners including those who wants developedthemselves.In the Project partner organisations plan todesigna teaching and learning platform called “ScieneCafe for Adults”.
Project objectives:
to grow and develop the knowledge and qualifications of adults who have completed or stopped formal education
to encourage people to take more activeroles towards engaging with science and technology issues that may affect everyday life
to break barriers promoting equal opportunities for adults over 45 years old
to introduce the use of bite size learning as a supplement to formal education, a new form of non-formal education that is totally mobile, flexible and easy to take up by a very wide variety of learners including those who wants to develope themselves

Project news
Science Cafe for Adults partners organized an online meeting for project evaluation and 3rd transnational project meeting in Prague.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided to hold the transnational meeting in Prague on 12-13 May 2022.
In addition, it was thought that it would be appropriate to complete the English subtitles for the youtube channel of the 2nd phase science cafe events until this date.
